Treasure Beach has been a part of my Soul since I was in my early 20’s. when I used drive to the undiscovered tiny fishing village on the South Coast to help my amazing family friend Jason Henzell, along with his bohemian parents, Perry and Sally, build their dream and now world famous, Jakes Hotel.

Jakes is Jamaica’s first sustainable hotel that Conde Nast Traveler calls “A Treasure Beach institution, the family-run Jakes is more than a boutique hotel; it’s the heart and soul of the community.”

In 1995, when I started my aromatherapy company, Starfish Oils, I moved into Jakes (at that time it was just a couple of rooms) to spend time practicing Yoga as a newly certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher and creating my line of scented candles, soaps, and oils…the energy there was and still is so full of Shakti - that creative life force in all of us that longs to be free. It was the perfect place to birth my new dream of bringing Wellness to Jamaica.

It was a wonderful time and it was then that I committed to finding a place in Treasure Beach to call my own. Finally, 15 years ago, my dream came true, and my hubby and I bought a sweet little 2 bedroom cottage a few minutes walk from Jakes, right on the water and named it Shakti Home in honor of my Shakti Yoga Center in Kingston. It's been 15 years of love and dedication to fix this little house up to a 3 bedroom beauty with a pool and yoga deck that is truly the Beach House that you dreaming about.

We will split our time during the retreat between Jakes with their funky rooms, gorgeous yoga deck, multiple restaurants and spa where you will stay, and Shakti Home where we will swim in the sea, do coffee detox body scrubs, have healing treatments and practice radical self-care in Mother Nature.

Arrival Day and Departure Day:

Starting Wednesday, October 25th and departing on Sunday, October 29th.

Check in is 3pm on arrival and 11am on check out.

Payment Schedule:

A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due at time of registration. You are also welcome to pay in full upon registration.

To secure the early bird rate, pay in full by June 16, 2023.

Regular registration rate goes into effect for any registrations on or after June 17, 2023.

Payment for regular pricing in full is due no later than August 16, 2023.

NOTE: Please do not book airfare until your spot in this retreat is confirmed!

Cancellation Policy:

  • Our cancellation policy is strict and firm. We strongly, strongly recommend that you purchase a cancellation/travel insurance policy to protect your investment: insuremytrip.com is a company that has a multitude of policies to choose from, including a “cancel for any reason” rider option (there are many other companies offering similar options). Typically, trip insurance must be purchased the same time you register for the retreat.
  • The $500.00 per person deposit/reservation is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations on or before August 16, 2023: There will be a cancellation fee of $100 on top of the non-refundable $500 reservation. The remainder of your payment will be refunded to you.
  • ​Cancellations after August 16, 2023: You will forfeit ALL money rendered.
  • ​Please do not make any travel arrangements before receiving confirmation of registration.

Should I Bring a towel?
Jakes Hotel provides towels for the beach and bathing.

Should I bring my own yoga mat?
You don’t need to bring any of your yoga stuff…they have all of it there!

I have dietary restrictions, can Jakes Hotel accommodate them?
In our experience, Jakes Hotel has been very accommodating to guests with specific dietary needs. Please let us know ahead of time so that we can communicate with the Jakes Hotel culinary staff. Contact us at support@sharonfeanny.com for your dietary needs.

Do I tip at Jakes Hotel?
Yes, we suggest a minimum of $20 per day. You can leave that at the end when you are checking out. This fee does not cover tips for massage therapists or the boat tour. Can I drink the water there?
Yes! The water in Jamaica is very safe to drink and you can refill your water bottle daily at Jakes.

Do I need an adapter to plug in?
Jakes Hotel has two-prong outlets, just like the ones in the US.

Do I need a passport to travel to Jamaica?
Yes, you do.

Is alcohol included in the price of the retreat?
No, but if you choose to have a drink with your meal that will be added to your room bill.

         Captain Dennis will pick 
us up in his beautiful boat, will have Red Stripe at Pelican Bar followed by a spectacular lunch 
at a private beach

Yoga and Sound Bath with Pooja
(Optional Micro Dosing)

   You will have time and space to fully let go

We will do Coffee Scrubs on the Beach.
Swim in the private cove.
Play in the Sand.
And as always on my retreats, I bring to you my favorite healers from Jamaica and around the globe to work with you beyond just the surface of the body, but also on your energy and your heart.

A month before the retreat, I will send you each Healer's offerings and prices and you will book your appointments directly with them. These are women that have made a huge impact on my life and helped me to open to deeper layers of consciousness to access greater peace, joy and beauty!
